Crystalline Solar Module Production: ecoSol®

Manual, semi-automatic, or fully automatic turnkey production lines.

Description
In a pv-module assembly line the solar cells are electrically interconnected and laminated between sheets of glass. Busbars, connectors, junction-boxes, frames, etc. are fitted to the glass substrate and the finished pv- modules are tested.

To manufacture cost-effective, competitive and high quality solar modules it is necessary to have flexible process equipment. ACI ecoTec is able to build up complete production lines with different levels of automation according to the customer’s requirements. The flexible design of the ecoSol allows the customer to start with a manual production solution which can be upgraded step-by-step with more automation.

ecoSol M: "M" means manual; with low capital investment, you can accomplish all the producction steps manually.

ecoSol S: “S” means semi-automated; which allows the customer to start with a lower initial investment to interconnect the cell strings for the solar module by manual welding or soldering. (This can be upgraded)

ecoSol H: “H” means highly-automated; which allows the customer to have an integrated, fully-automated welding robot system for interconnection of the strings to a complete Solar Cell Matrix.

ecoSol is the most modular and flexible system on the market and offers the possibility to manufacture varying kinds of laminated solar modules of various sizes, with various types and sizes of solar cells, that consist of one glass plate on the top, the two isolating EVA foils, the solar cell array and the back side foil.

In a turn-key pv-module line from ACI ecoTec all the glass panels are cleaned. In parallel the pv-cells are assembled into strings and placed onto the isolating foil which is positioned precisely onto the front glass. After the interconnections are completed, another isolating foil and the back-sheet foil, respectively the back-side glass is assembled before the pv-module is laminated. After lamination, edge trimming and framing are completed, then the junction box is assembled. Finally, a sun simulator tests the completed modules and a sorter grades the modules to the customers pre-defined quality class.

TCO
In order for our customers to fully evaluate the total cost of ownership we can offer TCO modelling based on your production plans. More on request.

Consultancy
Unless your system is fully specified we can offer you 'independent' consultancy to assist you in configuring your modules and production. More on request.
